The updated Honda Odyssey, produced by the GAC Honda joint venture, is now available in China. The manufacturer has discontinued the previous entry-level trim that lacked basic features like a center screen, backup camera, and cruise control. The new base model now starts at ¥184 800, which is approximately $27 500.

The refresh focuses on interior comfort and technology. New additions include optional heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for the front and middle rows, a built-in refrigerator, and a ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers. All versions now come with a leather steering wheel as standard equipment.

The new entry-level Pro trim features a 12.3-inch center display, which is larger than the 10.1-inch screens found on higher-end versions. While this screen supports smartphone integration via CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Carlink, it lacks built-in navigation and voice command functions.

The vehicle retains its 2.0-liter naturally aspirated HEV powertrain, delivering 158 kW and paired with an E-CVT. The MPV measures 4,861 mm in length with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. Fuel consumption is rated between 5.88 and 6.17 liters per 100 kilometers under the WLTC cycle.

Honda aims to improve market performance with these updates, as monthly sales have recently averaged around 800 units. The new starting price represents an increase of ¥9 000, or $1 300, compared to the previous base model that was priced at ¥175 900.
