HMD is developing a new portable 5G Wi-Fi hotspot device called HMD Pocket Link. The gadget features a 1.77-inch color LCD screen designed to display essential information, including battery status, signal strength, data usage, and the number of connected devices.

The device is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T157 5G processor, a chip previously utilized in smartphones like the TCL T508N and Coolpad Y60 5G. It includes a 3000mAh battery and supports charging via a USB-C port.

Connectivity options for the HMD Pocket Link include a nano-SIM card slot and Wi-Fi 5 support. Additionally, the device introduces a Save Data+ mode, which is intended to help users manage and control their data consumption while using the hotspot.
