The Al-Qassam Brigades have instructed donors to avoid Binance for cryptocurrency transfers, citing security risks. The group now recommends using Bybit, OKX, Trust Wallet, RedotPay, and Kast for donations, though Binance remains permitted for purchasing assets.

This change follows increased pressure from US authorities, with the FBI seizing approximately $560,000 in crypto assets linked to the group since March 2025. Investigations revealed that funds were primarily moved via the Tron blockchain using USDT.

To evade detection, operatives utilized rotating wallet addresses for each donation cycle. However, the FBI identified a shared gas wallet used to pay transaction fees, which helped link various wallets into a single network. One wallet received about 1.57 million USDT between late 2024 and March 2025.

The group has solicited digital asset donations since 2019, initially using Bitcoin before switching to USDT on Tron to improve anonymity. The move away from Binance suggests that the exchange's compliance measures, bolstered by a $4.3 billion settlement in 2023, are impacting the group's operations.
