Haier has launched the M1 smart bathroom heater in China, featuring a power output of 2800 W. The device integrates heating, ventilation, and odor removal functions, with an initial retail price of ¥699, approximately $98.
The heater utilizes the Black Gold deodorization technology, which previously appeared in Haier refrigerators. Laboratory tests indicate the module removes over 91% of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide within two hours in a 1 cubic meter space.
The ventilation system features a vortex design with a capacity of 180 cubic meters per hour and an airflow speed of at least 9.2 meters per second. A built-in microwave radar detects human presence to trigger automated scenarios for heating, lighting, and ventilation.
Users can adjust the temperature between 30 and 45 degrees Celsius with 1-degree increments. The device also allows for airflow direction control within a 60 to 100-degree range.
The integrated lighting system provides a luminous flux of at least 1350 lm and a color rendering index of Ra95. Brightness can be adjusted via the Haier Smart Home mobile application.
