Haier has introduced the M1 Plus smart electric clothes dryer, which features AI-powered voice control. The system operates offline, allowing users to adjust the height of the drying rods and manage the lighting via voice commands.
The device is designed to hold up to 35 kg of laundry. It offers 80 hanging spots, including 54 holes, 24 clips, and two extendable 2.13-meter rods for larger items like blankets. The unit features dedicated zones for different types of clothing, including children's wear and pet items.
The dryer is 8.5 cm thick and includes a 39.7-inch, 24-watt LED light with a brightness of 2400 lm and a color temperature of 6500 K. The construction uses carbon steel for the main body, 6-series aluminum alloy for the rods, and 304 stainless steel for the cables.
Safety features include gesture-based lifting, overload protection, and an automatic stop-and-reverse function when obstacles are detected. Users can also save preferred height settings for the drying rods. The product is currently available in China for ¥689.
