Green SM, a subsidiary of VinFast, has launched its electric taxi and rental services in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company introduced an initial fleet of 500 six-seater VinFast Green Limo electric vehicles. These cars are based at the Kemayoran Depot and are intended for ride-sharing and rental operations.

The Green Limo is a mid-size seven-seat MPV with an NEDC range of 450 kilometers. The service also includes other VinFast models such as the VF e34, VF 5, and VF 6. Drivers can join the platform as partners, with rental fees starting from IDR 254,000 per day and an initial payment of IDR 2 million.

To address local demand for two-wheeled transport, Green SM has integrated VinFast Evo and Feliz II electric scooters into its ecosystem. Drivers can access these through a rent-to-own scheme starting at IDR 39,000 per day. The company promises potential daily earnings of up to IDR 160,000, with ownership possible after two years.

Customers can access all services via the Green SM mobile application, which offers standard ride-hailing and the Green Now feature for expedited bookings. This expansion follows a previous initiative earlier this year where VinFast supplied 20,000 electric vehicles to transport companies operating within Indonesia.
