Graviton and Argo.Tech have implemented an IT infrastructure modernization project for the Federal Budgetary Institution of Science 'Research Institute of Systems Biology and Medicine' of Rospotrebnadzor.

The solution consists of a hardware-software complex based on the Graviton PH424I24BM-AR storage system, managed by specialized software from Argo.Tech. The platform is designed for high-performance computing and the use of modern AI accelerators.

The Graviton storage system is included in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation's Unified Register of Russian Industrial Products and is built on a domestically produced system board. The architecture allows for flexible scaling, enabling the customer to increase disk subsystem capacity in stages as data volumes grow.

The system utilizes an Active-Active ALUA dual-controller configuration combined with Argo.Tech technologies to ensure high availability of information and stable file, block, and object access. The software complex 'SKH D ARGO' (No. 5850 dated September 20, 2019) is integrated into the hardware platform.

According to the institute's representative, the implementation of this complex has already reduced data processing time several times over, supporting tasks such as predicting 3D protein structures, computer design of new molecules and antibodies, and processing metagenomic data for epidemiological monitoring.
