TechPowerUp has released GPU-Z version 2.71.0, introducing monitoring capabilities for Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. The update allows users to track hot spot temperatures and individual memory chip temperatures, helping identify potential cooling inconsistencies across the memory modules.
The new version expands monitoring features for Nvidia hardware, including an Advanced tab with overclocking data, XBAR clock frequencies, and Boost Lock status. Users can also track PCIe bandwidth in GB/s, along with new sensors for SYS, L2 Cache, and Video Clock, which require manual activation in settings.
Hardware support has been significantly broadened. The update now recognizes the RTX 5060 (GB205), RTX 4070 10GB prototype, RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell, and several enterprise models like H100 PCIe and Tesla V100-SXM2-16GB. AMD support includes Steam Machine GPU and Radeon PRO V710.
Intel platform support now covers Panther Lake, Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake H series, RPL-H Refresh, and Twin Lake processors. Additionally, the update adds support for Qualcomm Snapdragon X2-90, X2-85, and X2-45 chips, while fixing previous identification errors for Meteor Lake, Alder Lake, and Adreno 726.
