Google has introduced CC, an experimental AI agent designed as a shared resource for families of up to six users. The project evolves from a 2025 announcement and functions similarly to Gemini’s Daily Brief, aggregating data from connected Google accounts to provide daily summaries and task suggestions.
The agent operates through its own dedicated Google account. Users control data access by explicitly sharing specific email addresses, such as school schedules, or by sending content via Google Chat. Additionally, CC can monitor a shared Google Drive folder containing documents and event invitations.
Every morning, CC sends a collective 'Your Day Ahead' email to all registered family members. The tool manages shared calendars, tracks task progress, and generates documents based on user instructions. Over time, the agent adapts to individual preferences to automate routine administrative chores.
To ensure security, CC requires user confirmation before sending any documents to external addresses. The system runs on an isolated cloud instance powered by the Gemini 3.8 Flash model and the Antigravity architecture. The service is currently available without requiring a paid Google subscription.
