Google has unveiled the Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, priced at $179.99. The device features an AMOLED display, built-in GPS, and a user-replaceable battery, though it lacks an NFC module for contactless payments.

The tracker includes an altimeter, heart rate monitor, skin temperature sensor, and SpO2 sensor, with the ability to record ECG. It is protected against dust and water according to IP68 and 5 ATM standards.

The device supports over 50 workout types, with an AI-powered system capable of identifying more than 100 activities. Users can access personalized training plans via a Google Health Premium subscription.

Battery life reaches up to seven days with the Always-on Display disabled, or two days if it is active. A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes, while a five-minute charge adds one day of use.

The Fitbit Edge is compatible with Android 11 and iOS 16.4 or later. It comes in four colors, with a special edition designed in collaboration with Stephen Curry priced at $219.99.
