Google is preparing to launch the Fitbit Edge, the first new activity tracker from the brand in two years. The device is positioned as a successor to the Fitbit Charge, which debuted in October 2023. Since then, the company has released only the Ace LTE in 2024 and the Air model in 2025.

The Fitbit Edge features a design consistent with the Pixel 11 Pro color palette. Technical specifications include a battery life of up to seven days, built-in GPS, and an altimeter. The device will support both Android and iOS platforms and offer a limited selection of applications, including Google Maps and YouTube Music.

The company intends to focus the Fitbit brand exclusively on activity trackers, while reserving the smartwatch category for the Pixel Watch lineup. The new tracker is expected to hit the market later this month. The estimated retail price for the device is set between $150 and $200.
