Google Cloud and Accenture have launched the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program. This initiative embeds thousands of AI engineers directly within client organizations to transition AI projects from the prototype stage to full production.
The program integrates forward-deployed engineers from both companies and industry specialists from Faculty, Accenture's AI consultancy. These teams work on-site with clients to build and scale AI agents within corporate workflows.
The initiative is based on the Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise platform and offers early access to Google DeepMind's models, including the Gemini family. Accenture provides a large pool of Google Cloud-certified professionals for the program.
The focus is on agentic transformation, creating AI systems capable of autonomous action with human oversight. To ensure safety and governance, the program utilizes Accenture's Intelligent Digital Brain framework.
As of August 2024, nearly 45% of joint generative AI projects between the companies had moved to production. Accenture has also been named Google Cloud's 2026 Global Services Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.
