Goldman Sachs has issued buy ratings for five companies ahead of the Q3 earnings season, which runs from late October to mid-November. Among these, Baker Hughes is the only stock to show growth in 2026, rising 22.97% to $56. The other four companies have experienced declines this year: Nu Holdings fell 19.77% to $13.43, Disney dropped 10.18% to $102.19, Omnicom declined 8.17% to $74.15, and UPS decreased 6.22% to $93.02.
For Nu Holdings, analysts set a price target of $23, citing the bank's expansion into US consumer credit. Goldman Sachs lowered the Disney target to $140 from $144, projecting an annual EPS growth of roughly 13%. Regarding UPS, the bank anticipates more consistent profit growth following the completion of its Amazon volume drawdown and network automation efforts.
Omnicom is expected to see organic growth, with the bank highlighting its October 20 report as a potential catalyst for shares trading at 6x 2027 estimated EPS. Goldman Sachs also reinstated coverage of Baker Hughes with a $71 target, noting synergies from the Chart Industries acquisition. The firm previously acted as an adviser and debt financier for that transaction.
The reporting schedule begins with Omnicom on October 20, followed by UPS and Baker Hughes on October 27. Disney and Nu Holdings are scheduled to report their results around November 12. These projections contrast with broader market caution regarding the upcoming earnings season performance.
