The decentralized perpetual futures protocol GMX is deprecating its v2.2b synthetic smart contracts. Integrators must migrate to the v2.2c version by September 14, 2026, to ensure continued service functionality.

The new v2.2c contracts are currently active on Arbitrum, Avalanche, and MegaETH. These updates include refined oracle validations, adjusted collateral caps, updated funding mechanisms, and enhanced role-management protections.

Developers must update their configurations, as the migration requires integrating new addresses for ExchangeRouter, Reader, and SimulationRouter. Additionally, ABIs and struct definitions have been modified, necessitating a code audit for custom tooling.

GMX announced the deprecation timeline on August 17, 2026. Integrators operating across multiple networks must update configurations for each chain independently, as each network utilizes a unique set of contract addresses.
