GMGN, a multi-chain trading terminal, has launched a public beta for perpetual contracts trading. The service went live on September 21, with co-founder Haze inviting users to test the new functionality via Telegram.
The beta currently supports the SOL/USDC trading pair. GMGN utilizes third-party liquidity providers instead of maintaining its own pools. The platform offers a standard interface for managing positions, charts, and order books.
The fee structure for the new product is set at 0.045% for takers and 0.015% for makers. This is significantly lower than the 1% fee historically applied to the platform's spot trading services.
Users can earn a 3.5% annualized yield on account balances held on the platform. This feature is intended to encourage capital retention between trades.
GMGN operates as a non-custodial terminal across more than 10 blockchains. The platform was launched in 2023 and currently provides tools for token discovery, copy trading, and automated order management.
No native GMGN token has been announced alongside the beta launch. Details regarding specific leverage ratios and collateral types for the perpetual contracts remain limited at this stage.
