Astra Group has released version 5.0.0 of its GitFlic DevOps platform. The update features a transition to the Axiom Spring framework, a domestic alternative to Spring Framework, and the Libercat application server, which replaces Apache Tomcat.

Axiom Spring provides long-term support for Spring Framework 5.x and 6.x, as well as Spring Boot 2.7.x and 3.x, extending through 2029. This transition addresses the challenges faced by Russian companies following Broadcom's decision to limit open support for Spring and restrict access to security updates.

The platform's new Java stack is built according to the RBPO industrial process, ensuring the absence of unauthorized features. GitFlic now operates within a Java environment certified by the FSTEC of Russia, facilitating adoption for government agencies and regulated industries.

According to the company, this shift eliminates dependence on foreign vendors and provides users with technical support in Russian. The move is intended to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and strengthen technological sovereignty.
