The Giper.Dev tech guild has introduced Giper Baza, a decentralized database system built on the $mol framework. The architecture is designed to operate under strict availability requirements, enabling functionality in offline modes and directly within web browsers without server reliance.
The system utilizes a graph-based data model with ephemeral nodes and material edges, organized into atomic clusters called lands. It supports real-time synchronization with conflict-free merging of edits, allowing for asynchronous communication between microservices through shared state rather than traditional message passing.
Security features include end-to-end encryption and digital signatures for all data, supporting a zero-trust model between nodes. The infrastructure relies on decentralized choreography instead of centralized orchestration, ensuring consistency regardless of network status or intermediary node reliability.
Giper Baza is part of a broader ecosystem of technologies, including the Giper Web service suite, the Giper Space decentralized social network, and the Giper Fleet container management system. The project aims to provide a unified infrastructure for various digital applications.
