Gigabyte has officially launched the WRX90 AI TOP workstation motherboard, which is built on the Socket sTR5 platform and features an E-ATX form factor. The board is constructed using a 14-layer low-loss PCB and includes a 32+3+3+3 power delivery design.
The motherboard supports up to 2TB of memory via eight-channel 1DPC DDR5 RDIMM slots. Connectivity options include six PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, one PCIe Gen5 x8 slot, two MCIO 8i connectors, three M.2 2280 PCIe slots, and four SATA III ports.
For peripheral and network connectivity, the board provides two USB4 ports, two 10GbE RJ45 ports, and dual DisplayPort inputs, along with a dedicated slot for an M.2 wireless card. It also integrates an ASPEED AST2600 BMC SoC for remote management via IPMI, featuring a VGA output and a 1GbE management port.
To ensure thermal stability, Gigabyte equipped the board with an active cooling system. This includes the DDR Wind Blade XTREME Duo dual-fan cooler for memory modules, as well as dedicated active fans for the VRM and chipset components.
