The Gigabyte Gaming 1000GM PG5 is a 1000W power supply unit designed to meet ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. It features a native 12V-2x6 connector and utilizes a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan. The device is manufactured by HEC and incorporates Japanese capacitors throughout its internal design.
A key feature of this model is the T-Guard thermal monitoring system. It tracks the temperature of the 12V-2x6 connector in real time and cuts power to the graphics card if overheating is detected to prevent connector failure. The unit is backed by a ten-year warranty and is also available in a white version called the 1000GM PG5 ICE.
