Geoskan has released an update for its Arena Code software, designed for the Geoskan Arena Mini educational complex. The update replaces the previous 2D virtual polygon with a 3D environment, allowing students to test their programs in a simulated space.
The new software architecture enables up to 20 students to work simultaneously on their individual workstations. Previously, simulation was restricted to the teacher's computer, but now the simulator is integrated directly into the development environment.
Teachers can monitor all connected users through a dedicated tab and manage the transition to real hardware. Students submit their verified code to the instructor, who then executes it on physical drones, ensuring that students cannot operate the equipment without supervision.
The update introduces new interaction capabilities, including resource extraction mechanics within the 3D environment. Additionally, the educational materials have been restructured into three distinct sections: Theory, Assignment, and Solution, allowing teachers to define specific parameters for each lesson.
