The Genesis GV90 electric SUV features a motorized OLED display that rises 90 mm (3.5 inches) when the vehicle is parked. This mechanism increases the usable viewing area by approximately 70 percent, expanding the screen for media consumption. The panel measures 584.1 mm by 219 mm with a resolution of 3840 by 1440 pixels.

Engineers utilized a brushless motor, a rack-and-pinion gear, and guides to facilitate the movement. To manage vibration, the display is mounted directly to the cowl crossbar. Genesis reports that the mechanism underwent over 100,000 test cycles with operational noise levels kept below 40 decibels across various temperatures.

For safety, the screen automatically retracts when the vehicle begins to move to prevent interference with the front passenger airbag and to avoid driver distraction. The system is part of the new Pleos Connect infotainment platform, which also supports a 25-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system.

The GV90 includes additional interior features such as front seats that rotate 180 degrees, an option for airplane-style tray tables in the rear, and a design without a visible B-pillar. A 25-inch head-up display is also available to provide driving information while the vehicle is in motion.
