Geely Auto has officially introduced its new charging technology, Geely Smart Charge, which is powered by the Xingrui PowerMind energy model. The system includes a charging station capable of a peak power output of 2,250 kW per single gun. The technology utilizes thermal prediction algorithms to forecast battery temperature changes 30 seconds in advance, maintaining average temperatures below 55 degrees Celsius.

Tests conducted by the China Automotive Technology and Research Centre on a Lynk & Co 10 model showed a peak charging power of 1,093 kW. During a charge from 10% to 97%, the battery temperature remained under 55 degrees Celsius for 57% of the time, with a peak of 64 degrees Celsius. Alongside this, the company unveiled its new generation of Aegis Golden Brick ultra-short blade batteries.

The company plans to deploy over 100,000 charging guns across China by the end of 2027, including more than 50,000 Geely Smart Charge units. New owners of vehicles equipped with this technology will receive a charging allowance of ¥1,000 per year for two years, provided the vehicle is purchased before January 1, 2028. Additionally, the battery warranty has been extended to 8 years or 200,000 km.
