Geely has introduced the updated Panda Mini Karting Edition in China. The vehicle features a new 17.2 kWh LFP battery produced by CATL, which replaces the previous 17.03 kWh unit from Gotion. The manufacturer reports that this battery has successfully passed 76 safety tests.
The hatchback is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor providing 30 kW or 40 hp. It offers a maximum range of 210 km under CLTC conditions and supports 22 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. The top speed of the car is limited to 100 km/h.
The Karting Edition measures 3150/1540/1685 mm with a 2,015 mm wheelbase and 14-inch wheels. Interior features include a 9.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a 69-liter trunk. The vehicle is available in five exterior colors and two interior color schemes.
The model is priced at ¥49,900 ($7,435), though a limited-time discount reduces the starting price to ¥43,900 ($6,540). Since its initial launch in February 2023, cumulative domestic deliveries of the Panda Mini series have reached 426,704 units, despite a 77% year-over-year decline in sales between January and July 2026.
