Geely has launched its new Galaxy TT electric sport sedan in China, with prices starting at ¥129 900, which is approximately $19 100. The vehicle is available in five configurations, including four rear-wheel-drive models and one all-wheel-drive Ultra version. The top-tier Ultra trim is priced at ¥185 900, or about $27 300.
The sedan features an 800V architecture and utilizes a CATL Shenxing TT lithium iron phosphate battery. Geely reports that the system can add nearly 500 km of range in 11 minutes of charging. The base model includes a 63.8 kWh battery pack providing a range of 640 km under the CLTC cycle, while the flagship RWD version offers 725 km with a 75.2 kWh pack.
Performance specifications for the single-motor variants reach 245 kW, while the dual-motor Ultra delivers 425 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The chassis was tuned by Lotus. Standard equipment across all trims includes LiDAR for the G-ASD driver-assistance system, a 23-speaker Flyme Sound system, and a 2,920 mm wheelbase.
Prior to the official launch, the company secured over 20 000 pre-orders within a two-week period. The vehicle is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, though Geely has announced intentions to enter the US electric vehicle market within two to three years and is negotiating the acquisition of a Ford manufacturing facility in Europe.
