Dutch manufacturer Gazelle has expanded its Ultimate e-bike lineup with three new Class 1 models: the Ultimate T10, Ultimate C5, and Ultimate C380. These bikes are designed for recreational use and daily commuting, featuring the same geometry and platform as the company's previously released Class 3 Ultimate Speed series.
The new models start at $3,499. The entry-level Ultimate T10 is equipped with a Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain and a Bosch Active Line Plus motor delivering 60 Nm of torque. The bikes are now available for purchase through authorized dealers across the United States and Canada.
The Ultimate C5, priced at $3,999, introduces a Gates carbon belt drive and a Shimano Nexus 5-speed internally geared hub to the North American market. The top-tier Ultimate C380, retailing for $4,499, utilizes a Gates belt drive paired with an Enviolo continuously variable transmission and a Kiox display with navigation.
All three models feature an internally mounted 540Wh Bosch battery, with options to upgrade to an 800Wh battery or add a 250Wh range extender. The bikes also include Bosch Smart System integration, suspension seatposts, air-sprung suspension forks, and integrated brake lights that activate during deceleration.
