Garda, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, has released an updated version of its Anti-DDoS solution. The new release focuses on enhancing network availability during high traffic loads and simplifying the configuration of security rules for cybersecurity teams.
The system now supports Silicom E810 network adapters with 100 Gbps ports and hardware bypass capabilities. This feature ensures network connectivity remains active in transparent mode even if the security node fails, which is critical for in-line deployments.
The update introduces automated decoding for URL and referrer fields, streamlining signature creation. Additionally, administrators can now use local variables to reuse recurring rule fragments, reducing manual configuration efforts.
New security features include a dedicated setting for filtering LAND attacks by dropping packets with identical source and destination IP addresses. The system also improves mitigation of attacks that mimic TCP responses.
The release adds support for Astra Linux 1.8 and Debian 12, along with SSH key authentication for command-line access. Administrators can now set API request limits for users and groups to better manage system resources.
