The Spanish brand Galloper has returned to the automotive market with the launch of two frame-based models: the Ayanet pickup and the Gredos SUV. Both vehicles are based on Nissan models manufactured in China under license from Zhengzhou Nissan, featuring engines from Mitsubishi.
The Ayanet is built on the Nissan Navara D23 platform, while the Gredos uses the pre-facelift Nissan Terra. Both models are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 218 hp and 360 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
The vehicles retain traditional off-road features, including a frame chassis, BorgWarner all-wheel drive, low-range gearing, and a rear differential lock. The interior has been updated with a modern infotainment system featuring a large central display.
Galloper plans to introduce mild-hybrid and LPG versions in the future to comply with Euro 7 emission standards. While production currently takes place in China, the company is evaluating the possibility of moving assembly to Spain.
Sales are scheduled to begin in October. The Galloper Ayanet is priced at €26 000, while the Gredos SUV starts at €39 000.
