GALAX has introduced the GeForce RTX 5080 Hall Of Fame Extreme graphics card, which stands out with its dual 12V-2x6 power connector configuration. The manufacturer clarifies that both connectors are not intended for simultaneous use but serve as options for flexible cable management.
One connector is placed on the top of the card, while the second is hidden at the bottom near the PCIe x16 slot. This design choice allows users to route cables more discreetly depending on their specific PC build requirements.
The card features a 20-phase power delivery system for the GPU and a 4-phase design for the GDDR7 memory. It is built on a custom white PCB with gold-plated connections, a digital PWM controller, eFuse, and HOF-branded inductors.
In OC Mode, the card reaches a clock speed of 2,805 MHz with a TGP of 400 W. In standard Gaming Mode, the TGP drops to 360 W with a clock speed of 2,655 MHz. The GDDR7 memory operates at 30 Gbps across a 256-bit bus, providing 960 GB/s of bandwidth.
