GAC Aion has scheduled the official unveiling of the 2027 model year i60 crossover for September 15. The updated hybrid vehicle features a significant boost in range, reaching up to 1,738 km, while the pure electric range is now rated at 350 km.
The current version of the i60 is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a 245 hp electric motor. It features a 29.165 kWh battery, which allows for a 210 km electric range and a total range of 1,240 km under the CLTC cycle. Charging the battery from 30% to 80% takes approximately 15 minutes.
The 2027 model will introduce hardware upgrades, including a lidar sensor and an enhanced driver assistance system. Practicality improvements include the addition of a 66-liter front trunk. Inside, the vehicle will feature a 15.6-inch infotainment display, while the exterior design remains largely unchanged.
