GAC Aion has officially unveiled the interior of its upcoming Ray 7 electric sedan. The vehicle features integrated sports seats with a track-inspired design, offering zero-gravity mode for the front row, along with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The cabin layout prioritizes the driver to minimize distractions.

The sedan is powered by a 5nm Qualcomm 8295 processor, supported by 24GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of UFS 5.0 storage. The interior includes a floating center console and a panoramic roof with a triple-layer silver coating, which provides 88% solar energy rejection and 99.99% UV protection.

The Ray 7 measures 4960x1900x1455mm with a 2920mm wheelbase. It is the first model in the new Ray series announced by GAC Aion in July. The vehicle utilizes an aluminum-hybrid suspension system, incorporating front double-wishbones, a five-link rear setup, FSD variable damping, and HRS hydraulic rebound stoppers.

Technologically, the car features Huawei's EMB electronic braking and iTRACK intelligent torque control. It is equipped with a 28-in-1 thermal management system and a Huawei DriveONE electric drive. The battery pack is supplied by CATL and utilizes the 2.0 magazine battery architecture.

The vehicle includes advanced autonomous driving capabilities powered by WeRide's L4-level algorithms. The sensor suite consists of 27 automotive-grade units, including a 192-line LiDAR and three 4D millimeter-wave radars, enabling features such as autonomous parking without navigation.
