GAC Aion has officially launched the early access program for its new Ray7 electric sedan. Customers who place an order starting September 21 can secure exclusive benefits worth up to ¥8999 by paying a deposit of ¥299. The first batch of vehicles is scheduled to arrive at dealerships around the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Ray7 is a pure electric sedan measuring 4960x1900x1455 mm with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The vehicle features a chip-level drive-control integration architecture and is the first to utilize Huawei's EMB electro-mechanical braking system. It also integrates the Huawei iTRACK intelligent torque control system.

The chassis setup includes an aluminum-hybrid front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension, complemented by FSD variable damping and HRS hydraulic rebound stoppers. The powertrain utilizes Huawei's DriveONE electric drive and CATL battery packs with the 2.0 magazine battery technology.

The car is equipped with 27 automotive-grade sensors, including a 192-line LiDAR and three 4D millimeter-wave radars. It runs on L4-derived large model algorithms from WeRide, enabling features such as autonomous parking spot navigation and search.
