Fujifilm has introduced the instax Link WIDE 2 photo printer and the instax Pal 2 digital camera. Both devices are scheduled for release in Japan on October 9. The printer uses WIDE format paper, which is twice the size of the instax Mini format, and comes in blue and brown color options.

The printer features a new Photo Mixer function in its companion app for creating collages, along with AI-powered subject extraction for adding people or objects to photos. It supports direct printing from smartphones, tablets, PCs, and Fujifilm X series cameras, and includes Google Fast Pair Service for simplified connectivity.

The instax Pal 2 is a compact camera featuring a retro design with a semi-matte finish. It includes a top-mounted display for waist-level viewing, a viewfinder, a dial, and a lever for manual parameter control. The device is equipped with a 10-megapixel 1/3.06-inch sensor and internal storage for 100 photos, with microSD card support.

The camera offers various shooting modes, including Y2K and Vintage styles. It also features an instax Animation mode, which captures up to 10 consecutive photos to create flipbook-style videos. The device connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth or USB-C for printing and data transfer.
