FSP Group has officially released the world's first ATX power supply unit to receive the 80 PLUS 230V Ruby certification. The new model offers a rated power output of 850W and utilizes a standard AC to ATX configuration. It is equipped with an 80mm industrial-grade high-pressure fan, designed to support the specific power requirements of edge computing systems and AI workstations.
According to the CLEAResult database, the FSP850-50AFB model is currently the only power supply listed with this specific Ruby certification from FSP. This unit also holds the distinction of being the first ATX industrial power supply to achieve the 80 Plus Titanium 230V EU Internal certification.
The competition in this segment is growing, as Seasonic has also secured 80 PLUS Ruby certifications. Following their initial success with the PRIME RX-1600 in the 115V Internal category, the company has now obtained the 230V EU Internal certification for the ATX 3.1 version of the RX-1600 model.
