Framework has secured a limited quantity of Micron 32GB and 64GB LPCAMM2 memory modules at a lower cost. These price reductions apply to the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 version of the Framework laptop, while models with AMD Ryzen AI 300 CPUs continue to use SO-DIMMs.
The company is issuing retroactive refunds to customers whose orders have already shipped at the previous higher price. Additionally, pending pre-orders up to Batch 10 have been adjusted to reflect the new, lower pricing on a first-come, first-served basis.
CEO Nirav Patel noted that while these prices remain above the original pre-order launch baseline, they are lower than the costs established during the July 22 update, which had nearly doubled the prices for these modules.
Customers with DIY Edition Framework 13 Pro laptops who have already received their devices can request a module swap to the 32GB or 64GB LPCAMM2 options at the reduced price via a dedicated contact form.
