Framework is offering price reductions for RAM modules in the Laptop 13 Pro model. The company has acquired a limited batch of Micron LPCAMM2 modules in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities, which allows it to lower costs for specific customer groups.
The price cuts apply to both already shipped orders and some pending pre-orders. Specifically, the company will adjust prices for pre-orders waiting for fulfillment up to and including the 10th batch, where higher-priced memory was previously selected.
Customers who paid the higher price for shipped orders will be eligible for a refund of the difference. DIY Edition buyers can use a special form on the manufacturer's website to select memory at the new, lower price.
If additional low-cost memory stocks are available after these initial groups, Framework intends to offer them to remaining pre-order groups and eventually to new orders, which are currently in the 20th batch.
