Framework announced a reduction in RAM prices for specific Laptop 13 Pro configurations. The company secured a limited supply of 32GB and 64GB Micron LPCAMM2 memory modules at a lower cost, allowing them to pass these savings to customers.
The price adjustment applies to both orders that have already shipped and a subset of pending pre-orders. Framework is issuing refunds to customers who previously paid the higher price for their memory modules.
For pending pre-orders up to Batch 10, the company is lowering the cost and providing an option to modify RAM configurations. Any remaining stock will be offered to subsequent batches, up to the current Batch 20, and then to new orders.
Owners of the DIY Edition laptop can also request a change to their RAM configuration at the updated pricing through a dedicated form on the company website.
