Foton Motor and ZHUOYU Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 8. The partnership focuses on implementing advanced intelligent driving solutions across various commercial vehicle scenarios.
The collaboration covers highway and national road navigation assistance for heavy-duty trucks, intercity high-speed NOA, unmanned logistics vehicles, and urban NOA for light commercial vehicles. The companies also plan to cooperate on L3 and L4 intelligent connected vehicle pilot projects.
The joint development will leverage ZHUOYU Technology's algorithms, sensor fusion, and domain control hardware alongside Foton Motor's vehicle control and chassis integration expertise. The partners aim to scale production in phases, starting with highway logistics before expanding to complex urban and national road environments.
Beyond domestic development, the companies intend to pursue regulatory compliance for high-level autonomous driving pilots. They also plan to explore international markets, specifically targeting the Middle East, South America, and Australia-New Zealand regions.
