Forum Mobility is expanding its infrastructure for heavy-duty electric vehicles by launching four new charging depots in California. These facilities will add 30 MW of charging capacity to the company's network. The sites are designed specifically for freight transport, featuring pull-through lanes that allow drivers to charge without detaching their trailers.
The new depots will support both MCS and CCS charging standards. Tesla will manage public Megacharging stations at three of the new locations: FM Francis in Ontario, and FM Adeline and FM Coliseum in Oakland. At the FM Santa Fe site in Rancho Dominguez, the company has secured contracts for over 330 Tesla Semis while keeping the facility open to the public.
The company already operates a depot at the Port of Long Beach, which opened in December 2024. This existing site features 44 CCS charging ports and provides 9 MW of capacity, with two additional Tesla Megachargers recently installed. Forum Mobility plans to further scale its operations with future sites in the Inland Empire, Central Valley, and major cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, Tacoma, and Chicago.
