Chinese manufacturer Forthing is expanding its European presence with three new models, focusing on family-oriented vehicles. The company entered the European market in 2022 and reported sales of over 10,000 vehicles by 2025. Currently active in Germany and Italy, the brand plans to expand into France, Norway, and Denmark.

The mid-sized SUV, TK5, features an 800-volt architecture. Its all-electric version includes a 75 kWh battery that charges from 20 to 80 percent in under 18 minutes, with a DC charging power of 160 kW. The plug-in hybrid variant of the TK5 is equipped with a 39 kWh battery.

The larger TK7 model is a plug-in hybrid that is 29 centimeters longer than the TK5. It offers a seven-seat configuration in a 2-2-3 layout, allowing passengers to access the rear row through a gap between the middle seats. The vehicle includes features like electrically adjustable seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

The V9 plug-in hybrid is available in four-seat and seven-seat versions. The four-seat model is designed for camping, featuring a sink, shower curtain, refrigerator, and storage compartments. Both V9 variants support 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology and offer a 220-volt power outlet with 2.2 kW output.

Forthing plans to launch the TK5 and TK7 in Europe in the coming months. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed pricing for these upcoming models.
