Ford has reopened the application process for the Mustang GTD in Europe, providing a one-month window that began on September 14, 2026, and concludes on October 16, 2026. The company has capped the total production for the European market at 500 units.

Pricing for the vehicle varies significantly by country due to local taxes and homologation costs. While the base price starts above €300 000, estimates indicate prices of €359 900 in Germany and Romania, €366 000 in Belgium, and £315 000 in Britain. In Austria and Norway, prices reach €525 500 and €480 000 respectively.

The Mustang GTD features a supercharged V8 engine delivering 815 horsepower. Ford positions the model as a halo vehicle within its racing lineup. Despite the performance specifications, the company notes that European road registration status for the vehicle remains pending in some markets.

Buyers now have access to the Spirit of America livery, which includes a Performance White body with Race Red and Lightning Blue stripes. Additionally, customers can utilize an Extended Color Palette option to customize their vehicle.
