Mozilla has released a major design update for the Firefox browser across both desktop and mobile platforms. The interface now features rounded tab headers, a redesigned address bar, and updated icons and color schemes, aiming for a unified visual language across all devices.

The company describes this update as a reconstruction of the browser. New features include widgets on the homepage, a split-screen mode, and centralized settings for managing artificial intelligence tools. Mozilla confirmed that these visual changes do not impact browser performance.

Users now have expanded personalization options, including new themes and background images compatible with both light and dark modes. Additionally, version 157 introduces a compact mode that reduces the size of tab headers and toolbars to increase screen space, with an option for automatic activation on smaller displays.
