FiiO has announced the upcoming release of its new FX25 in-ear monitor, scheduled for market launch on October 19. The device is positioned as a successor to the previous FX15 model and will be priced at ¥4999.

The FX25 features a seven-driver configuration per side, consisting of one 10mm lithium-magnesium alloy dynamic driver for low frequencies, two Knowles balanced armatures for mid and high frequencies, and four Sonion electrostatic drivers for high and ultra-high frequencies. This setup extends high-frequency response up to 50kHz.

The new model introduces a proprietary RLC second-order band-stop filter circuit designed to reduce high-frequency resonance peaks. The earphone housing is constructed from carbon fiber, weighing approximately 7g per unit. It also incorporates the S.Turbo acoustic structure and a specialized rear cavity design to improve mid-range clarity.

The hardware includes a 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable system, featuring a liquid nitrogen-frozen 6N monocrystalline silver-plated copper cable. Users can choose between 3.5mm, 4.4mm, or USB-C DAC connectors. The technical specifications list an impedance of 20Ω at 1kHz, a sensitivity of 106dB/mW at 1kHz, and a frequency response range of 10Hz-40kHz.
