FiiO has introduced the M25 series, a portable HiFi player priced at ¥7,499. The device is currently available through offline retail channels, with online sales scheduled to begin in mid-to-late November.
The player is powered by the QCS6490 processor, which shares the same architecture as the Snapdragon 778G. It comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The series is divided into two distinct versions based on audio architecture.
The M25 VERITA model utilizes a flagship DAC configuration featuring the AK4191EQ and dual AK4499EX chips. Meanwhile, the M25 R2R version incorporates a proprietary 24+5bit segmented R2R PRO resistor array, offering users different sound profiles.
Both models feature a desktop-grade audio architecture, including an independent XMOS XU316 chip and an output power of 1700mW plus 1700mW. The devices also integrate high-capacity FPGA, custom femtosecond oscillators, and support for 31-band PEQ and AUTO EQ.
The hardware is powered by a 6500mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging and a dual power supply system. The player includes a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 by 2160 pixels and supports a retro user interface with dedicated Pod and cassette modes.
