FiiO has introduced the DT11, marketed as the world's first portable Android-based digital transport. The device is scheduled to go on sale by the end of September with an initial price of ¥1 999.
The DT11 is designed to output digital audio signals to external DACs or amplifier units rather than functioning as a standalone music player. It features a magnetic chassis for attachment to smartphones and can be used as a desktop digital transport.
The hardware includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, running on the Android 13 operating system. The device is equipped with a 4.7-inch display and a 4000mAh battery, which provides approximately 20 hours of playback via coaxial output.
Connectivity options include optical and dual coaxial outputs, along with two Type-C ports. The device supports USB audio output and direct connection modes, offering up to 9W of external power delivery and 20W PD fast charging support.
