The integration process involved the migration of approximately 600,000 customer accounts and 293 banking centers located in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, and Texas to Fifth Third's platforms.

Following the completion of the conversion, Fifth Third has become the ninth-largest bank in the United States, managing assets exceeding $300 billion. The bank now operates 1,500 branches and 21,300 ATMs, with a retail presence reaching over half of the U.S. population.

The merger with Comerica was initially announced in October and valued at $10.9 billion. The transaction closed in February, with the final transition of accounts to comparable products occurring on September 8.

Looking ahead, Fifth Third Bancorp expects to operate approximately 1,750 branches by 2030. The company intends to leverage its leadership in the Midwest while investing in high-growth markets, including Texas, the Southeast, Arizona, and California.
