Fiat has unveiled the Multiplay concept, a compact vehicle measuring 4.45 meters in length. The design combines features of a minivan, an SUV, and a pickup truck, utilizing a modular architecture called Metamorfosi.
The vehicle features a sliding rear module that converts the interior from a six-seat family configuration into a four-seat pickup with an open cargo bed. Additionally, the rear spoiler rotates to function as an integrated bicycle rack for up to two bikes.
The interior includes a modular unit known as the Petsenger seat, which can be adapted for a child, a pet, or used as storage. The front passenger seat can swivel to face the rear, forming a lounge-style configuration.
Fiat has not disclosed any technical specifications, including powertrain, battery capacity, or performance figures. The company stated that the concept is not a preview of a specific production model but serves as a laboratory for future design ideas.
