Fetch.ai’s Innovation Lab is deploying autonomous AI agents across universities in the US and the UK. These tools are designed to assist students with campus navigation and event discovery. The project utilizes the company's proprietary technical stack, including the uAgents framework, the Agentverse platform, and ASI:One.

Specific implementations include 'Welcome Week AI Agents' at San José State University for event and alumni networking, and a 'Scavenger Hunt' bot at California State University, Long Beach, to gamify campus orientation. These agents operate independently to execute tasks without constant human oversight.

The company is conducting educational outreach, such as workshops and hackathons, at institutions including UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Imperial College London, and the University of Cambridge. Fetch.ai plans to scale these initiatives significantly through 2026.

Fetch.ai has provided $100,000 to UCLA to support local AI research. The company aims to train students in autonomous agent architecture, creating a developer pipeline for its ecosystem. Currently, these campus deployments function as AI tools without direct integration of the FET token or blockchain components.
