Ferrari produced a limited series of 599 units of the Daytona SP3, all of which were sold before public release. The company also created a single additional Tailor Made unit for a 2025 charity auction in Monterey, which sold for $26 million, setting a record for a new Ferrari at the time.

A former Ferrari-owned development and press vehicle with approximately 2,900 miles is scheduled for auction at RM Sotheby’s in London on October 31, 2026. The vehicle, finished in Giallo Triplo Strato over Rosso Ferrari, has an estimated value between $10 million and $13 million.

The Daytona SP3 is the third model in the Icona series, featuring a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 829 horsepower at 9,250 rpm. Its design is inspired by 1960s Le Mans prototypes. Ferrari does not publish a global MSRP for these vehicles, as allocations are managed through private client relationships.

The $26 million charity sale remains a unique benchmark, as standard market values for the model typically cluster in the mid-single-digit millions. A subsequent Ferrari charity vehicle, the Luce, surpassed the previous record by selling for approximately $40 million at a 2026 Monterey auction.
