The joint venture FAW Toyota has launched the RAV4 Off-Road Edition in the Chinese market. While the recommended retail price is set at ¥177 800, the company is offering a temporary launch price of ¥144 000.
The vehicle is based on the 2026 model year Hybrid 2.0L Two-Wheel Drive Elite trim. Despite the name, the model features a front-wheel-drive configuration paired with a fifth-generation THS hybrid system, which includes a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor.
The crossover measures 4620 by 1855 by 1680 mm with a wheelbase of 2690 mm. The powertrain delivers a combined output of 112 kW, equivalent to 152 horsepower, with a fuel consumption rate of 4.59 liters per 100 kilometers.
The interior features a digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central display, and a head-up display, all powered by a Qualcomm SA8155P SoC. The vehicle also includes 256-color ambient lighting and the Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 driver assistance suite.
