Political action committees affiliated with Fairshake, including Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress, have reported spending $2.7 million on media and direct mail. These funds support Democratic and Republican candidates for the US House of Representatives ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Specific expenditures include $512,000 for Pete Aguilar, $500,000 for Josh Gottheimer, $76,000 for Tom Emmer, and $73,000 for Glenn Thompson. Fairshake also plans to endorse 32 additional candidates, with six of them set to receive $1 million each in media support.

Fairshake is funded by contributions from Coinbase, Ripple Labs, and Cantor Fitzgerald. As of August, the organization held $122 million in cash. The committee has also allocated at least $30 million to oppose Sherrod Brown in the Ohio Senate race.

The spending targets candidates who supported the 2025 Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. While the bill passed the House with bipartisan support, it failed a procedural vote in the Senate in September. The initiative aims to promote candidates favoring digital asset policy.
